~Steve Jobs
As I began walking this path in nature, I saw the tracks of four legged friends, I heard the conversations of the birds, and I felt the crisp winter air sting my face. I took in a deep breath and found my thoughts traveling towards clarity. Breathing in clarity and exhaling out confusion.
Clarity is defined as, ' freedom from indistinctness or ambiguity. The state or quality of being clear or transparent to the eye.'
No wonder I love nature! I always find a kindred connection that allows me to explore any ambiguity I'm experiencing in my life. Nature is vast and life giving. Nature is not confused about it's role. There is no ambiguity exuded from a tree, a blossoming flower, a fertile field of crops (perhaps unless it lives in NE Ohio, we can have four seasons in one day!). What I'm saying is that a tree is aligned with it's purpose. That purpose is multi-dimensional and every adaptive. Shade for a warm summer day. A root system that helps those plants around it. Leaves that become compost for spring flowers. According to the Arbor Day foundation, "a mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year." WOW!! That's a pretty impressive attribute for the tree to add to its resume!
Living in North East Ohio, we are in the season of winter. It is during this season that I feel clarity is more present than ever. The feelings of shorter darker days allows for reflection and a gathering of information. What did you come to this Earth to do at this moment in time? If you're not clear, the Universe can't get clear either. If you say No, but you mean Yes, the Universe is going to offer you a 'wishy washy' experience and vice versa.
Today I invite you to chose 2 areas of your life that you desire clarity in. Perhaps you want to get clear about your professional life, your relationships with others, your scarcity mindset, your ambivalence about commitment, your desire to travel, or your accuracy of executing your plans. This list could be infinite, but tune into your inner knowing about the avenues of your life that you want to get clear on. Say YES when you mean YES and NO when you mean NO.
Make this list with the future in mind, how will you act when you have clarity? How will your spiritual, mental, and emotional life look when you are clear? What are two actions that you can take today to get clear about the vision and goals in your life? You are the author of your destiny...put a dent in the Universe with your clarity and precision!
May You Sweetly Seek:)
In Gratitude,
Sarah
