― Martin Luther King Jr.
As MLK reminds us, we do face difficulties on a daily basis, but we have within us this amazing capacity to foster infinite hope. We possess this infinity with each breath that we take. Our awake and aware hearts have an ability to live outside the constructs of normalcy and to extend into the spaciousness of possibilities. We are the dreamers and the doers. It is up to us to do our personal work so that we may awaken from the trace of archaic beliefs and outdated ways of being. These words call us to rise into new levels of awareness. To extend beyond right and wrong. To grow past our limits. To rise higher and higher in our capacity to love one another, but to ultimately love ourselves.
"We hold these truths to be self evident- that all men are created equal." Let us look to our brothers and sisters and hold the highest vision of their lives. Even when they cannot see it, let us see it for them. For in essence we are them, and they are us. We must unite in love. As Marianne Williamson reminds us from A Course in Miracles, "The way of the miracle-worker is to see all human behavior as one of two things: either love, or a call for love." Work miracles in your own life, and then watch the world around you transform.
May we keep the vision of MLK alive. In his profound words, "Let freedom ring!"
May We Sweetly Seek:)
In Gratitude,
Sarah
