Last week I was studying the deck, Pentacles which is ruled by the element of the Earth (which I totally vibe with since I am an Earth sign). At the end of each lesson we draw a card that speaks to the appropriate energy we are working with. The medicine that we most need in our lives for this precise time period. This past week I drew the five of pentacles and I am feeling its medicine at a cellular level.
I am feeling this card as an invitation to really notice the energy I am putting out as I wait for what I know is on it's way. The two figures in the image are portrayed as beggars in the Rider Waite deck and as Lindsey shared, because they are out wandering the streets and in such deep contraction they miss the lights of the church shinning out to them.
This card was the card I was least attracted to, and don't you know I winded up pulling it. The Universe knows my friends. As I sit with the experience of this card, I peer into my life and feel myself in a season of waiting, and I feel the invitation to notice how I'm handling this period. How about you? How are you handling the wait in your life? The wait for your beloved, the wait for a raise, the wait for a letter in the mail, the wait for life to unfold in magnanimous ways. As I drop into the feelings of waiting, I know that amazing things are on their way, but I also know I ride the train of human emotion. The ups and downs, the ins and the outs. All of life is an invitation to notice the energy that we are bringing.
As you are waiting for life to deliver up its magic, notice if you are so busy that you miss the light all around you. What energy are you bringing to the wait? It's all a choice! As Lindsey always shares in class, "Feelings are not always facts."
May You Sweetly Seek:)
