~Deepak Chopra
Happy Tuesday beautiful hearts!! Today I want to talk about bliss! Bliss is defined as 'supreme happiness, utter joy or contentment.' Just typing the definition I feel this immense sense of gratitude swell into my heart! Supreme happiness sounds pretty scrumptious to me, how about you? In the presence of bliss I truly believe we renounce our separateness, and assume an identity of authentic visibility. Instead of being the 'judge' of our journey we become the 'watcher' of the events of life. We engage in the process of exploration in our life. When was the last time you had an adventure that centered around 'utter joy and contentment?'
Remember being a little kid and how fun and free our imaginations were? This quality of being present and of creating allowed for us to construct pillow forts, to host tea parties for our dolls, we wore capes to save the day, we played in mud puddles, we snuggled in with those we loved, we laughed and cried as the moment presented itself, and we were bliss in action! I like to think that my cape might have made me a member of the 'Bliss Seekers Club.' When was the last time you built a pillow fort, or hung out in your PJ's on a Sunday, or danced in the rain, or snuggled with someone you love?
This photo reminds me of being an honorary member of the Bliss Seekers Club...there are metaphorical shores in our lives that are scattered with emotions, events, and pieces of our lives. We become the 'watcher' of these pieces and hopefully somewhere along the way we see the value of the fragments, because they become the strokes of paint on the canvas of our lives. This photo of the shore line reminds me of a Monet painting. The composition of his work is brilliant and speaks volumes to this notion of bliss. Each dab of oil is designed to compliment the one preceding it. We are the artists of this supreme happiness. Every stroke, every shell, every emotion, every chance meeting leads to a greater sense of connection. Sometimes as we look at life we are so in the middle of it that we can't see anything but dots of color...but as we step back from life, we begin to see the magnitude of the message. We watch with eyes of compassion and feel the grand connection... In this state as Deepak suggests, "...everything is loved."
May we all remember that we are bliss
May we tap into the wonder that we held as children.
May we be creative and beautiful artists.
May we tap into this amazing state of being and animate love and supreme happiness! Enjoy the journey my friends!
May you Sweetly Seek:)
In Gratitude,
Sarah
