~Neale Donald Walsch
The Klesha I focused on was Asmita, our "I-AM-NESS" thinking. In the midst of this thinking, we become identified with our titles, our labels, our possessions, our status and so forth. As I look over the landscape of my life it can become all to easy to slide into false notions about the self. It is easy to identify ourselves as our job titles, our relationship titles, and so on.
I find myself wanting to connect more with my spiritual practices to slow down and plug in. Am I believing thoughts that support what I would like to create in my life? Am I tied into being identified in a particular way that causes me to miss the life that is right in front of me?
As you move through your week, perhaps pick three of the titles you most identify with and then sit with them in a way that you can gather more information around them. Sit in a space of compassion and love. If you are not these titles, then who are you? Know that we are all sitting in these questions together!
May You Sweetly Seek:)
