Thankful Thursday...

"Stay hungry, Stay foolish!" ~Stewart Brand
Happy Thankful Thursday beautiful hearts!!  It is my hope that today's post inspires you on multiple levels.  The energy of Steve Jobs' commencement speech from 2005 is humming with encouragement.  The animation of his message still rings true.  I find my heart roused towards the courageous pursuit of living each day to the fullest.  As I reflect on his speech I begin to ponder the message of my life.

My questions then go out to the whole....What message are you imparting on a daily basis?  Do you like the medium that you are creating on?  Have you allowed the dogma of others to clutter your intuition?  What does your beautiful heart long to do- to create?

There's something magical about a life well lived that stirs the hunger inside our hearts.  It is often through storytelling that we are able to make the biggest impact on the audiences of life.  Jobs' offered 3 stories to these new graduates.  The theme of his message is applicable to any student of life.  Aren't we all hungry and foolish for the adventure of living?

1. Connect the dots: - Have the confidence to follow your heart!
*You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.

2. Love & Loss: - Be a beginner, do what you believe is great work!
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."

3. Death: - "If you live each day as your last, someday you'll be right."
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

May You Sweetly Seek:)
In Gratitude,
Sarah
