Thankful Thursday...It's all good

Gathering old treasured pictures from my parents house has left me feeling rather inspired and enlivened.  As I gaze into the eyes of my younger self I see a passion and a joy for life that can't be squandered.  This younger part of me believes in the unimaginable, she creates from thin air, and she loves without question.  As I sort through old memories I can't help but giggle as I reconnect to this infinite energy.  I see spunk in my eyes, personality in my smile, and an echo of creativity in my costume design.  Life wasn't always perfect as a kid, and it certainly isn't as an adult, but I love that I have a visual of what's possible; joy.  In each and every moment we have the opportunity to play the same tape of our past, or to tune into the magic of the present moment.

It's easy to wear the same path in the carpeting so to speak.  As neural scientists have shown, "Neurons that wire together, fire together."  How would your life suddenly change if you began wiring together possibilities?  It matters that we take responsibility for our lives, for our healing and for our rising.  We weren't designed to remain small and insignificant, we were born to stand out and share our gifts with the world.

I have this picture perched on a sweet corner of my desk and I so love all the energy that is contained within it.  On those days when I falter for courage, I look into the eyes of my three year old self and see the infinite possibilities.  This babe believes in herself, she's confident and full of life!  Today I am grateful for the inner knowing that it's all good.  All these years...life has been happening for me.  And my beautiful friends it is happening for you as well.

The sacred intimate lessons of life tangle up in the ordinary happenings of our days.  They invade our anger.  They shatter our fears.  They invite us to grieve, to feel and to ultimately heal.   They invite us to wear our strength as an act of love for ourselves.  They invite us to be playful, to have fun, to laugh.  They invite us to drop the stories of shame and guilt and move into the light of day.

I invite you to find a picture of yourself that exemplifies JOY and place it somewhere where you are continually reminded of your innate capacity to live in this way.  It's all good loves!

May You Sweetly Seek:)
In Gratitude,
Sarah
