As fate would have it, I opened up to the section on Entitlement. At first glance I wasn't sure I wanted this section, but as I began reading I knew it contained some juicy truths of living.
"The arrogance of belonging is not about egotism or self-absorption. In a strange way, it's the opposite; it is a divine force that will actually take you out of yourself and allow you to engage more fully with life. Because often what keeps you from creative living is your self-absorption (your self-doubt, your disgust, your self-judgement, your crushing sense of self-protection). The arrogance of belonging pulls you out of the darkest depths of self-hatred--not by saying "I'm the greatest!" but merely by saying "I am here!"
She goes on to encourage her readers to announce their intent! Proclaim what you are and at the end add in..."I am this, and I am that, and I am also this other thing, too! I don't yet know exactly what I am, but I am curious enough to find out!"
Today I hope you stir the caves of creativity within you! May you constantly be defining and re-aligning all that you are! Become an ecstatic creator of your life! You are such a gift to this Earth...now go live this gift to life!
May You Sweetly Seek:)
In Gratitude,
Sarah
